Email the Finance Committee to Help Stop Graham-Cassidy!
The Senate Finance Committee, of which Senator Roberts is a member, is holding a hearing on the Graham-Cassidy bill that will devastate Medicaid and have terrible impacts to healthcare in general. This post is to let everyone know about the hearing on Monday but also to encourage you to submit testimony. If you or someone you know that will be impacted which will be most people in some way please consider sending written testimony through the email address below. I would really encourage getting testimonies from individuals whose lives would be devastated by the impacts through Medicaid. Comments must be submitted by 12:00 Noon Central time on Monday, September 25th.
Be sure to copy your email to Senator Roberts in his webmail https://www.roberts.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?p=EmailPat
This is a very quick turnaround but this is not an accident. They are trying to push this through quickly. We must let Senator Roberts know how we feel. Be informative and respectful but let him know that we are his constituents and we vote!!
