Website for College Students with Disabilities

Dear KACILnow,

I would like to share with you the link to the We Connect Now website.
http://weconnectnow.wordpress.com/ The website was created while I was a
college student with a grant I received from YP4 to develop a website to
serve college students with disabilities. The website was developed in an
effort to connect and integrate college students with disabilities as a
virtual community with a voice on important issues.
The We Connect Now website has been up and serving college students with
disabilities since April of 2008.

Support Olmstead

Subject: DISTRIBUTE WIDELY: TAKE ACTION TODAY to support Olmstead!

Governor Gregoire (D) of Washington State only has two days left to ask for an extension of the September 17th deadline to appeal MR v Dreyfus to the Supreme Court.  So far, we ve been told that Governor Gregoire has not been moved by our advocacy and it seems likely she will appeal the case, putting Olmstead at risk.

Today (9-5-12), at noon Pacific time, the Washington State Chapter of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) and the Alliance for People with Disabilities will be holding a press conference urging Governor Gregoire to not appeal the case to the Supreme Court.  Thanks to Washington State Chapter of ASAN and the Alliance for People with Disabilities for raising awareness and building pressure through the media.

Let s support them and TAKE ACTION!
