HELLO FROM SHARI - JULY 24, 2020
This past weekend, I was outside looking at the beautiful stars when an amazing light shot across the sky. I had never seen a falling star be visible for as long as I saw this light. I now know that it was probably the space station, not a falling star. That did not take away my excitement from the beauty I witnessed or the wish that I made. In fact, it made me want to do more stargazing in hopes of seeing it again.
With all of the negative things we hear and see that are going on in this world, it is nice to have moments that can give you joy. We just have to look around and find them. One of the things that fills my heart is being able to love so many people. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work for SKIL and meet so many people. I can’t wait until we can open back up so I can see everyone, but until it is safe I will just love you all by being cautious and keeping the offices closed except by appointment.
Despite the pandemic, we have some wonderful opportunities to get out and see each other. The free lunch drive/walk/roll through ADA Celebration, held today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is our first major opportunity, but we also have all of our free customer appreciation picnics scheduled. I hope to see you at those events. The free picnics will be very much like our ADA Celebration, to respect social distancing and remain safe. But, we will be seeing each other and feeling that love that fills our hearts with hope for humanity.
I am lucky to have you all in my life. Thank you for being the shooting star that fills my heart with love and joy.
Love, Shari
