Due to the potential spread of the Corona Virus, all SKIL Offices will be closed to visitors and the general public until further notice.

When bringing paperwork to SKIL offices during regular business hours, call that office, and someone will come to the door to assist you.

Scam Alert! Evergy Disconnect Scam

JUST RECEIVED FROM THE LABETTE ASSISTANCE CENTER - NOTICE OF FRAUDULENT CALLERS!

We received a fraudulent call from 866-276-0270 stating they were from EVERGY (formerly Westar) and that our utilities would be disconnected in the next 30 minutes! I called the number back and the answering machine does sound legitimate. “Thank you for calling Evergy….press 1, 2 or 3" etc. HOWEVER, this is NOT a legitimate phone number for Evergy. Evergy will give a 24-hour notice PRIOR TO DISCONNECTING your electricity!

Please be careful in giving ANY information to callers you have not verified and DO NOT give money in any form until you have verified you are working with LEGITIMATE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES!

PLEASE CONTACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER ON YOUR BILL SHOULD YOU RECEIVE A CALL REGARDING DISCONNECT FROM ANY COMPANY!
