Parsons, Ks – USD 503, Parsons Sun and KLKC Radio are hosting a Candidate Forum at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016, in the Parsons High School Vocational-Technology Building, 3030 Morton, Parsons, Kansas.  The event will feature the race for 15th District Kansas State Senator that will be decided in the November 8th General Election.   Democrat Chuck Schmidt of Independence and Republican Dan Goddard of Parsons have agreed to take part in the forum so area voters can learn more about where they stand on various issues. 

Matt Boehmer with KLKC Radio will serve as moderator.  Questions will be presented by local media representatives Ray Nolting from the Parsons Sun and Annette Tucker from KLKC.  No questions will be accepted from the floor.  However, people wishing to ask about a specific issue may drop information by the Parsons Sun office at 220 South 18th Street in Parsons or KLKC Radio Station at 1812 Main in downtown Parsons.  Questions may also be sent by fax to 620-421-5570 or e-mailed to This email address is being protected from spambots.
