Learn about Kansas Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)

On this episode of "Resource Central," host Joe Reinecker talks to Judy Blunk, Independent Living Coordinator (ILC) from Columbus about two programs which can substantially help eligible consumers. One of these programs is the Kansas Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP). This is a Federallly funded program that helps eligibile households pay a portion of their home energy costs. The other program is the Homestead Program, which assists disabled individuals to get a tax credit if they own their own home.
