SKIL Resource Center is...
A private, not-for-profit corporation devoted to meeting the various needs of Americans with disabilities. SKIL strives to advocate with, and for, the Civil Rights of people with disabilities and to identify and promote access to existing resources. SKIL also advocates for the development of new resources to enable people with disabilities to live independently. SKIL is non-residential; however, SKIL helps those with disabilities to be able to live in the situation and community of their choice. SKIL will act as a facilitator enabling the consumer with disabilities to more fully develop their individual potential and opportunities to grow.
