Independent Living Skills Training  

SKIL provides Independent Living Skills Training to customers seeking to develop specific skills necessary to live a more self-sufficient life. SKIL’s independent living coordinators provide training in such areas as budgeting, cooking, shopping, transportation, home organization, social skills and any other skills necessary for independence.

Coordinators work with the individual consumer as often as the consumer deems necessary. Most basic skills are taught face-to-face. The consumer selects the areas of need. SKIL training, including frequency, is consumer controlled.
