This page provides information about individual human rights and systems advocacy at the local, state and national levels, as well as other links to advocacy sites. The Peer Counseling services at SKIL include both individual and group services. These pages describe procedures and planned outcomes of counseling that include sharing life experiences and problem solutions with other persons with disabilities. SKIL’s Independent Living Skills Training Services cover life skills training, such as budgeting, cooking and shopping, as well as employment education designed to prepare individuals to hold a job.
