Deadline for applications to be a part of KanCare work groups extended
Would you like to be a member of a work group that helps guide the KanCare program?
The work group is called the Consumer and Specialized Issues (CSI) work group, and it is looking for people who receive KanCare services to help by:
- Looking at information for people served by KanCare
- Sharing ideas for improving KanCare
- Helping resolve issues that may come up about KanCare
If you are a family member of someone receiving KanCare, you can also help. Just fill out the form you find at this link.
There also is a Medical Care Advisory Committee (MCAC), which needs people receiving KanCare or their family members to participate, too. This committee helps decide how to run the programs and how to know if they are working well.
Not everyone will be chosen. A variety of people is desired for the groups. The size of these groups will be limited. If you need help to be a member, please indicate this on the form.
Your completed form must be submitted by February 21, 2013 (the deadline was recently extended). If you have questions, call Cheryl Coughlin at 785-296-8355.
